How to organize a banquet?
So, how is the organization of banquets and receptions organized?
To organize a banquet, you need to make a lot of effort and time, while your life experience does not hurt. The most important thing is to choose a convenient venue for the banquet. It can be a restaurant, banquet hall, club or cafe. All proposed places are evaluated by interior, location, service staff working there. If at the solemn part of the wedding a small number of people are not planned, you can arrange a banquet at home or go outdoors.
It is most convenient to hold a banquet in a restaurant, since there will not be any questions with a dish for a multi-tiered cake or with a bucket for champagne wines. Before ordering the chosen institution, calculate the approximate number and composition of your guests, as a regular restaurant most often accommodates no more than 50 people. Be aware that renting a room, as a rule, is not paid by itself. The venue will provide you with a rental if the number of guests at your wedding will meet at least the minimum required for the delivery of the hall, or assign you the total amount of orders that each venue determines individually. If you want to change something in the interior, you can additionally invite specialists. They, either themselves or at your request, will be able to decorate the hall with garlands, flowers and balloons.
Check out the wedding menu options in advance and resolve issues regarding the entertainment program. When discussing the menu, keep in mind that guests quickly snack only the first half hour, and then switch to alcoholic beverages. Therefore, it is better to focus on snacks, and on a hot order a large and effective dish, designed for about the number of servings, how many guests you have (you can find out about the order of dishes).
We want to note that it is not necessary to spend all your savings on the wedding table. For example, instead of a wedding banquet, you can hold a small buffet. Firstly, it will help to reduce your money expenses, and secondly, the organization of a buffet reception is the most optimal communication option for your guests. At this reception, any invitee, without offending any of the neighbors on the table, will be able to find an interlocutor to their liking. However, whichever option you prefer – a banquet or a buffet table – you need to book a room for this event in advance, at least no later than two to three weeks before the date of the celebration, unless, of course, you plan to arrange a gala event at fresh air – the so-called exit banquet.
When planning a holiday in nature, it should be borne in mind that the number of invited guests should not be very large, because regardless of the weather, you will have to rent a tent, the total area of which (we are talking about a standard tent) is 25 square meters. Such a tent with a roof will protect you and your guests from the hot sun or sudden rain. As for the selected dishes and decorating the wedding table in nature, it will be very unusual if the color scheme is combined with the season. For example, in the spring your table should be characterized by tenderness. To do this, do not be too lazy to decorate it with spring flowers: violets, daffodils, lilacs … Let the table itself be designed in white, yellow, pink and green colors. At the time of summer, the festive table will unconditionally give a joyful mood if it is colorful, but preference is given to blue, as it causes a feeling of freshness and clarity. In the fall, the table should be calming. To do this, use swamp, brown and orange tones. If you consider yourself extreme, and risk taking the guests out into the winter forest to celebrate, keep in mind that when designing the table you need to use tones such as red and purple – they are the most warming.
