A buffet at the wedding and a buffet at the wedding are two completely different concepts. Why mention – because many tend to confuse, and even confuse these designations. A buffet reception at a wedding is a stylization of a banquet in the spirit of a buffet.
But the buffet, or, as it is also called the welcome zone, is, let’s say, preparation and “familiarization of guests”. You must admit that it is not uncommon for a part of the guests to go to the wedding and the rest comes directly to the celebration. There are situations when the young people, along with the witnesses, are “godlessly stuck” at a wedding photo shoot, and the guests have already arrived at the banquet.
